7 days wasn't long enough - I could go around the Hawaii islands again. The ship turfed us out early this morning, very smooth exit with plenty of taxis waiting as promised.
Norwegian Cruise Line is a slick operation all round with excellent service, good not outstanding food, bright energetic shows, no bridge and awful toilet paper. That's my only criticism; half ply toilet paper with large holes in it so you need 12 thicknesses for safety.
We settled into a routine of our favourite places on the ship, very often no-one else there: it was amazing where 2500 people went. Three times in the Cadillac Diner there were more staff than customers. I loved the diner, think Elvis's ghost haunts the juke box:
At Honolulu Airport we confronted US security for the first time in recent years: looooong queues and everything into the trays for screening including shoes and belts.
